Symptoms of Success

Step 1 - Inception

Goals are the distant moons , you never have a ready made rocket to reach one.
If my goal let's assume is to brush my teeth at 4 AM sharp tomorrow, what do I need to take care of?
Obviously, setting up the alarm, having tooth brush and tooth paste, making sure mobile phone or inverter has enough charge just in case power goes off and most important that I need to be alive. Wait...did you notice something?
All the required stuff is REAL for this challenge with near 100 percent certainty of success. This goal is threaded to reality in real life. On contrary DREAMS are those goals we are uncertain about. 
We can't quantify perfect steps and timeline for DREAMS as we did in case of brushing teeth at 4 AM. Then here comes the question, if your strategy to your dreams cannot be quantified and is so much uncertain, how to reach there.

Yes! if you got this question in your mind - How to do?
This itself is the start of your journey. Let me simplify with an example...
Let's assume someone's dream is to be an ACTOR...
Remember in case of brushing teeth goal, I myself asked the question...How to do ?  and had the answer on how to do...
But for your DREAMS, you only have questions....Lots of questions
Universe gives the answer!!!

The person wants to be an ACTOR. If he's not a son of an actor or director same question would arise...How to do?
Since he is tensed with the question...in his daily life his eyes mostly notices the hoarding of movie releases, film institute certifications and training details in newspapers, moreover he might get to know that a person from same place , friend of friend or relative is working in the film industry...All these happen automatically.

Step 2 - Plan Execution

Here most people fail. Reason - they start from 100 in mind and not 0.
Why do we eat daily, why can't eat enough for future...because we are designed for present.

Example on how people start from 100 :
You want to be Rank 1 holder in your class. For that you have set so called target 'Rank 1'  in your mindFrom the time you set the target to the time you get results out, you live quite a strange life. You feel time is running faster. Wherever you go, be in party, picnic, birthday, heavy rain during exam days...you harvested enough fear through the journey. This is not how life has been designed for us.
Here you have already started from 100 when you have put in mind 'Rank 1'. 

This fear is so much so, that if a car speds up across throwing mud on your white shirt while going for an exam, you definitely would think something bad might happen. Setting TARGET comes with a negative side of worrying about it in your social life too and possible fear of incompletion. You can set a target and achieve that but you can't be organic and have to suppress your mind for thinking about the goal always. Moreover, this is the reason people mostly give up.
DREAMS :) are like babies. Instead, if you dream of becoming a Rank 1 holder, you ask question How to do?, you will learn how Rank 1 holders started, what is not worth studying, strategy etc.
In this case you start from 0. 
You literally start loving to learn. Where there is love there is happiness.

Step 3 - Consistency

It's easy to say - Do what you Love & Love what you Do 
But why can't you Love your studies or preparation just like you Love your GF?
Mind remembers all that is beneficial for body---your gf's phone number, new Tshirt, surprise gift. 
All these stuff some way or the other beneficial for the body and makes you happy.

While reading reverse osmosis process, french revolution etc your mind and body doesn't find any benefit from that information then and there. 
There is a saying- If you can't BEAT them JOIN them. Here it is Mind.

Some foolish people try to BEAT mind by suppressing with a self grown technique called MUGGING word to word. It works for a limited content for a limited time.

Other option is to JOIN, that means not going against the river
but to swim with it and change it's direction (hypothetical).

Your mind will definitely neglect it because 18th century french revolution information has nothing to do with 31st May 2020 i.e, present day of your life.

But you have to make your mind Love this info. because it's useful for the future.
Information of memorizing french revolution for a student, dialogue delivery for aspiring to be an actor.

How to make your mind Love strange stuff?
Solution:
Mind only commands to stop those things that it finds difficult.
You decide to walk 30 kms in a day, your mind in a blink directs your fingers to the Ola app.
So don't let your mind know. Do the 30 kms a day walk on the 30th day. Till then go for an extra km everyday that let's your mind think it's possible and let's you go.

Don't Fool Yourself, Fool the Mind!
