The Science Of Falling in Love

Love Logic - A beautiful insight - Read time: 5 min

Ever wondered why it's called =>
"Falling in Love"
Or Is that just "Chemistry" or
Chemical History

Let's dig into the most typical topic of mankind ever- LOVE

Disclaimer: The content of the blog is purely unbiased rational perception backed by research-based facts. Reader discretion is advised.

Hi Folks,
Yet another weekend blog just for you guys!

Before "Falling in Love" with this blog :)
Let's talk about "Why do you fall in Love?"

The first time you feel like you can't imagine a day without him/her is the day you literally tasted the drug. Scientists believe the first time you start feeling this is because the brain releases the same chemical that it releases when you are high on drugs. People fall in love when they are most happy or most sad.

Example:
When your exams are around or you entered into a situation where you find yourself new or helpless, stress starts growing. Dopamine is the chemical that soothes the brain and relieves stress. Also, dopamine is released when you do the things that make you happy. This might be the reason honeymoon, chocolate day and candle-lit dinner come into the picture.

Nonetheless, Dopamine (chemical) is released more in the first 6 months of the relationship. Dopamine also triggers testosterone production which also makes one possessive.

Meanwhile Serotonin (chemical) level falls during this period. That could rightly be the reason, it's called "Falling in Love". Serotonin is the mood controller for the brain. So for the first 6 months, you are the highest level of pleasure and the lowest level of mind control. Caution dopamine and serotonin levels if imbalanced could lead to suicidal tendencies even, rarely though.

Since you started feeling happy seeing her/him, Norepinephrine (chemical) gives you those sleepless nights, alertness, and the ability to remember and notice even the smallest details of your partner. This chemical also speeds up the heart, so the next time when someone says their heart beats for you, they literally mean it.

                                                                 Norepinephrine

As dopamine is like a new shirt, it is never new after 6 months here, so you can't feel the stomach butterflies you felt in that period. Then what keeps love alive even after marriage...?
Oxytocin (chemical) plays the role for married people so they feel that a new shirt is always new. Oxytocin is released during sexual intercourse. This chemical deepens the feelings and attachment towards each other.

Strangely rare but possible death due to breakup exists...

takotsubo cardiomyopathy or broken heart syndrome

Phenylethylamine (chemical) focuses your attention and craves for intimacy. When Phenylethylamine level drops during a breakup we feel uncertain and fear losing which leads to depression.

                                                                       Phenylethylamine

Health benefits of Love.

The Covid Eclipse - Pandemic

The Covid Eclipse

अंत या आरंभ

चलिये आज बात करते है उस समस्या के बारे में जिससे धरती पर हर मानव त्रस्त है |

Here's your blogger, Kieron again with a new weekend blog. Have Fun Reading!

Is Coronavirus really a problem?

Lets's discuss the present everyday thoughts before opening the optimistic window.

  • The exponential rise in cases day by day.
  • Proven vaccine for sale is no where in near future.
  • Unemployment
  • Hunger deaths
  • High chance of recession and depression.
  • Limited medical facilities.
  • Uneasy access to medical facilities for under privileged.
Before continuing reading, I would suggest you watch this video

Yes, there's a solution!

There were many outbreaks like SARS, MERS, Spanish Flue, Ebola but none like this. As in this COVID 19, the country of origin deliberately covered up the story having access to such an extent that it enslaved, the world's supreme health organisation WHO.

The biggest solution for any outbreak is the early identification and control measures, none of which Chinese government allowed. So, here we failed.

Since we failed to stop the spread, we have to decelerate the spread to zero as soon as possible.

The steps taken by various governments across the world are almost common.
Imposing nationwide lock-down, Testing at war footing pace, quarantining suspected people, isolating infected people and treating them, regulations to maintain 6 ft distance. using masks and hand sanitizers

Despite of all these measures infected cases are rising day by day across the world. Let's dig into this matter.

Coronavirus is a newly detected virus with capability of human to human transmission.
It has mortality rate of around 3% which is way lower than dengue (40%). But do really 3 in 100 infected with Covid die.
Answer is: No

As of now 80% cases are asymptomatic. There are people who have been infected with coronavirus and recovered due to self immunity, they knew only when antibodies were found in their blood during random covid tests. Even the not so healthy person  (not having any chronic disease) is guaranteed to be recovered with little medication. For Example: My native town Yavatmal had 115 cases out of which 100 recovered. But this is not the cases everywhere else. There are 1000s dying everyday. The reason is not categorizing the patients and the media.

The present testing rate is 100000 per day in India. We can't cover a quarter of population in an year. So this is not the solution.

Chronic disease- heart attack, diabetes, hypertension etc.,

Solution:
Categorize the population in red, orange and green people.

RED - elderly above 75, elderly above 60 (with chronic disease), infants.

ORANGE - BPL (below poverty line) people and homeless people, teenagers and below 10, normal people with no chronic disease

GREEN - Healthy people with good immune system. people who can afford treatment in private hospitals.

GREEN must be given the least priority, as they might book ICU even for mild symptoms due to fear spread by media. And healthy people don't have to much worry about but have to take care that they don't become carrier and super spreader.

ORANGE - These category mainly has people that provide the man power for industries and the next generation. So, this is important.

RED - I would say, better quarantining and following the guidelines would protect more than treatment for this category. RED shouldn't be given the first priority as they are not the backbone of the economy but as it helps in reduce the fear by showing the actual mortality rate category wise.

To know better How Covid will End?
We have to look back at the end of the Spanish Flue (1918-1920) that killed 50 million people.
It ended due to community immunity.

Community immunity is also in other words known as Herd Immunity.
Let's understand with an example:

Suppose tomorrow the covid vaccine is available for 1 crore people. And the lab decides to distribute randomly to those who buy, the spread won't stop. To effectively stop the spread within days, they have to provide vaccine to every 700th person on the planet (as per 7 billion global population).
Since in a month global cases would rise over 1 crore, in case every 700th person gets infected and recovers, cases won't rise further. This is Herd Immunity.

Recovered people act as barrier to the spread and graph goes flat and down. As India's curve hasn't flattened yet. There is a peak awaiting of around 15-20 lakh cases (probably) in India by mid August 2020 before flattening and going down. Refer the graph below.

We shouldn't trigger the second wave as what people during spanish flue did after lockdown ended by partying, gathering and ceremonies.

Amazing Fact: Spanish Flue didn't originate in Spain, but in USA.

Symptoms of Success

Step 1 - Inception

Goals are the distant moons , you never have a ready made rocket to reach one.
If my goal let's assume is to brush my teeth at 4 AM sharp tomorrow, what do I need to take care of?
Obviously, setting up the alarm, having tooth brush and tooth paste, making sure mobile phone or inverter has enough charge just in case power goes off and most important that I need to be alive. Wait...did you notice something?
All the required stuff is REAL for this challenge with near 100 percent certainty of success. This goal is threaded to reality in real life. On contrary DREAMS are those goals we are uncertain about.
We can't quantify perfect steps and timeline for DREAMS as we did in case of brushing teeth at 4 AM. Then here comes the question, if your strategy to your dreams cannot be quantified and is so much uncertain, how to reach there.

Yes! if you got this question in your mind - How to do?
This itself is the start of your journey. Let me simplify with an example...
Let's assume someone's dream is to be an ACTOR...
Remember in case of brushing teeth goal, I myself asked the question...How to do ?  and had the answer on how to do...
But for your DREAMS, you only have questions....Lots of questions
Universe gives the answer!!!

The person wants to be an ACTOR. If he's not a son of an actor or director same question would arise...How to do?
Since he is tensed with the question...in his daily life his eyes mostly notices the hoarding of movie releases, film institute certifications and training details in newspapers, moreover he might get to know that a person from same place , friend of friend or relative is working in the film industry...All these happen automatically.

Step 2 - Plan Execution

Here most people fail. Reason - they start from 100 in mind and not 0.
Why do we eat daily, why can't eat enough for future...because we are designed for present.

Example on how people start from 100 :
You want to be Rank 1 holder in your class. For that you have set so called target 'Rank 1'  in your mindFrom the time you set the target to the time you get results out, you live quite a strange life. You feel time is running faster. Wherever you go, be in party, picnic, birthday, heavy rain during exam days...you harvested enough fear through the journey. This is not how life has been designed for us.
Here you have already started from 100 when you have put in mind 'Rank 1'.

This fear is so much so, that if a car speds up across throwing mud on your white shirt while going for an exam, you definitely would think something bad might happen. Setting TARGET comes with a negative side of worrying about it in your social life too and possible fear of incompletion. You can set a target and achieve that but you can't be organic and have to suppress your mind for thinking about the goal always. Moreover, this is the reason people mostly give up.
DREAMS :) are like babies. Instead, if you dream of becoming a Rank 1 holder, you ask question How to do?, you will learn how Rank 1 holders started, what is not worth studying, strategy etc.
In this case you start from 0.
You literally start loving to learn. Where there is love there is happiness.

Step 3 - Consistency

It's easy to say - Do what you Love & Love what you Do
But why can't you Love your studies or preparation just like you Love your GF?
Mind remembers all that is beneficial for body---your gf's phone number, new Tshirt, surprise gift.
All these stuff some way or the other beneficial for the body and makes you happy.

While reading reverse osmosis process, french revolution etc your mind and body doesn't find any benefit from that information then and there.
There is a saying- If you can't BEAT them JOIN them. Here it is Mind.

Some foolish people try to BEAT mind by suppressing with a self grown technique called MUGGING word to word. It works for a limited content for a limited time.

Other option is to JOIN, that means not going against the river
but to swim with it and change it's direction (hypothetical).

Your mind will definitely neglect it because 18th century french revolution information has nothing to do with 31st May 2020 i.e, present day of your life.

But you have to make your mind Love this info. because it's useful for the future.
Information of memorizing french revolution for a student, dialogue delivery for aspiring to be an actor.

How to make your mind Love strange stuff?
Solution:
Mind only commands to stop those things that it finds difficult.
You decide to walk 30 kms in a day, your mind in a blink directs your fingers to the Ola app.
So don't let your mind know. Do the 30 kms a day walk on the 30th day. Till then go for an extra km everyday that let's your mind think it's possible and let's you go.

Don't Fool Yourself, Fool the Mind!
Best Luck
